I am new to sajha and hope i can get some help here.

My relatives send me a Microsoft word document in Nepali characters. But when I opened it in my computer, it showed something like

What is this? I can't understand, Can anyone tell me how to translate it into Nepali or English?

You gotta have nepali font installed in your computer in order to make it legible. I don't know which font your relative used for the above text, but you can try download and install couple of nepali fonts from Kantipuronline website and other news sites too.

That means

कार्तिक          रु ५०००।-
