I have aonly one citi credit card of 500 for 6 months. I got a preapproved WaMU offer. When I applied it says I am approved for 20lk. Is it possible? Is it fraud ?

get the card. you will see. That may be maximum they can approve but not necessarily for you.

is it 20K or 201K? I know a friend who was approved for 20K. WaMU is good, I have one card of them. But I never use it coz its just of $500. I m planning to quit using credit cards once I pay them all. They suck.

it is 20 k and I was suprised because I just have one credit card before for six month.

 

Katepate, its just that these mailers are "pre-approvals".  That is the max you could qualify for if you have excellent credit and payment history...In your case (since you've only had one card, that too a max of $500 issued just 6 months ago), I'd be surrpised if you got anything more than $1,000.
