CAUSE AND EFFECT

1)

Cause ----->organisation's culture
effect-------> ethical practice

Good organisational culture leads to go good ethical practical

2) Cause------> ethical practice
effect ----------> org. culture

Good ethical practice leads to good organisational culture.

I go with the first one. The culture of the orgnaisation is such that people who enter that orgnaisation are bound my its moral codes to be good men/women. If they won't act according to its rules such people will be shown the door. The Law is already there in this case,and people have to abide by it.

Regarding the second one, we don't know who is ethical or who is unethical, i mean regarding the individuals who enter the organisation. As there seems to be no strict code to follow, each will act accordingly to suit his/her purpose. So good ethical practice followed by an individual might not change the structure of the organisation and the way it functions. There is no Law, people can interpret the Law according to their whim and fancy, and act on it accordingly. like Gyanendra.

Sorry for the typos/wipos!

Dile babes,
ke chaa..its ethics that form culture..ethics is right or wrong..whereas culture constitutes ethics, behaviors ...people..

that was what we learnt in school..

in real life..when you first go to work at a place..you have to know their work culture is..how lenient they are...how to speak,..when to smile..when to laugh..when to joke...after settling in you begin to act ethically..i.e. not going wrong..beyond what has been applied..but those were the same ethics that formed the culture of the organization before you entered...

i guess it goes in circles..always give examples and answer your ques...for school..so you'll get straight A'sss

aiiit lassi take care
