Stray until you find something cold.
Pray, stray away from promises.
Purple on the amiable glow
of a bare electric bulb.
Red on evening of faint daze
of painting on rickshaw's back.
Shoulders of coiled muscles,
and coiling over again on
thighs and the back of his legs.
Knees dusty, dry like sand.
Navigation through mindless halcyon.
Bereft of signs - grace of unimaginable faith.
Break the coconut shells on doorsteps-
bones brittle, flesh ungainly.
We have climbed mountains.
The mid-day shadows
will shortly come to haunt at midnight.
Pray, stray away from dark paths.
