My plan is to go home in the month of April 2023. I am stil in big hope that court will give atleast 1 year before it terminates this programme . Is it aoK to apply advance parole today ? If anyone like in my condition plezz let me know ??thankyou so much 🙏

There’s no point in applying for advance parole when there isn’t any decision on the tps yet. Current expiration is on 31st so you’re not gnna make it before that. Best thing is to wait for new FRN once they decide on the new TPS update.

So guys, what do you think? Can one go ahead with filing for travel document now? or wait until an official announcement is made regarding TPS. I heard the waiting time is like 15 months before the travel document is finalized by USCIS? Though some sites say 3-6 months, it is confusing.

Yes, you can file for advance parole now, and if granted will be valid till June 30, 2024.

Ok, good to know. I hope this extended TPS will work for genuine people who are in TPS. I was really moved by a user who said he was able to build his house while working in TPS here. And I can imagine there are a lot of other people like him, who will get impacted in a good way with this extension, though it is not that long, but still. Good luck to all!
