HI Everyone, i am filing for N 400 application, but i am really confused about one section

on  Part 10, D Good moral cheracter, 

Have yo ever been arrested, cited, or detained by any law enforcement officer?

(Incluuding USCIS or former INS and militaty officers) for any reason?

i have one traffic ticket for minor accident, should i said yes or no. is traffic ticket considerd any of these ARRESTED, CITED or DETAINED.

please need advice. thank you

No need to mention traffic violation unless it was serious one like DUI, Hit and Run

 go to that website and its on page 25. You do not need to submit documentation but if you got a traffic ticket that means you are cited. You can tell them no. But its all on their record.



Note that unless a traffic incident
was alcohol or drug related, you do not need
to submit documentation for traffic fines and
incidents that did not involve an actual arrest
if the only penalty was a fine of less than
$500 and/or points on your driver’s license.
