I am wondering if USCIS actually calls your previous employers, regarding the N-400 that you submitted to verify things like your employment history and your moral character, etc. Anyone has an hands on experience on this matter?

yes they do the through investigation for the naturalization process. Just don't lie in the form.

Thnx for the info, m sure they do a thorough investigation. But, I was just wondering if they actually called the previous employers to have a word though! Did they call your previous employer novaguy83?

What’s the hell!!! First thing you seem lying about your previous employer in the form. Why did you have to lie ?? It’s nothing to do with your employment. Even if you didn’t have a job for many years they won’t deny based on it

All they want is your good moral character, paying child support, filing tax. Good luck man.

I don't know if they called my employers (past and present).
One simple FBI background check for Conceal Carry permit reveals so much about an individual, so you can decide for yourself.
My suggestion is don't lie or hide any information. The N-400 form says if you have more information with regards to your addresses or employment use separate sheets.
