I am looking for hostels in New York. I am going to NY for my Christmas break and am thinking about staying there for 3 days. And I also need to know what are my options of reaching the hostel from the airport (actually the cheapest one would be great). I have never been to NY and I know nothing about NY.

and, McBernie YMCA at West 24th Street and 7th Avenue

Though I don't know if any other place would be cheaper (there must be hundreds of them!), I am pretty sure these two would easily fall into the "cheaper" category.
