 cell phone to nepal

Dear sajhabasi ho!

I am planning to send  one cell phone  to Nepal. Do you guys have any idea which cell phone set  works there? And how to get a cell phone in low price without any contract from any service provider? I know quad band works around the world. please share you opinion in this matter.
