Ya'll i need to know if we got any BYU students over here... i was planning to get in BYU, but then there are conflicting remarks about that place.. i know ppl out there are really conservative and indoctrinating, but does it make your life miserable?
And, do we have to stay in dorms or are there any other alternatives? And their tuition is cheaper for LDS members, if i get a scholarship, lets say half, would i still be paying non-member tuition?
Help appreciated in advance.

I know that BYU is the hub for Mormons. If you look up 'Mormon' in Wikipedia, you will know everything about them. Yeah, the university is affiliated to the LDS but it depends on you. The rules are very strict and they MAKE you a mormon. So just do some research, contact people already there see if you can fit in that type of environment.
