Parents are getting old.
Mom is gravely ill.
Im in usa, they are in their 60s
Im the only son.
I am debating bring them here permanently to live with me vs. wait couple years see if health get better. since medicine is cheap in nepal compared to usa. I can easily afford their treatment back home. Here, i cant say i will, we have to sell some stuff, properties for treatment in usa.

बाबु आमा हुने हामी जस्ता भाग्यमानीहरुको एउटा जटिल समस्या हो यो . बुढा बुढीलाइ यहाँ राखेर जाक्नु भनेको चै साचै महा-पाप हो . १ २ महिना घुम्ने घुमाउने आफ्नो ठाउँमा छ तर GC maintain गर्नकै खातिर एस्तो अनकन्टार ठाउँमा ल्याएर उनीहरुलाइ राख्नु हुन्न . सके सम्म नेपालमै सुख सुबिधा सहित राख्ने कोसिश गर्नु पर्छ . मेरी श्रीमतीले मेरी सासु- ससुरालाइ २ जना नर्स राखेकी छे २४*७ सपोर्ट .आजकल नेपालमा नर्स छ्याप छ्यापति पाइन्छ ज्यादै सस्तो रेटमा . १० १२ हजार बाट काम लाउन सकिन्छ . नर्सहरुले त नेपालमा काम नै पाउदैनन्, पाई हाले पनि एक वर्ष भोलिन्टर गर्नु पर्छ तेस्पछि १५ हजार दिन्छ हसपिटलले . मेरी बुढीले चै जनही ३० हजार दिएर राखेकी छे . सुरुमै येति धेरै पैसा पाउदा उनीहरु पनि दङ्ग छन् . सब्द " नर्स " सुन्दा फेन्सी लागे पनि घरको सारा काम गर्छन, खाना पकाउना , धोना , पुछ्ना देहि सामान्य उपचार सबै . हेर्नुस न, नेपालमा सुन्दा ६० हजार लाग्ला तर यहाँ बाट पठाउदा ५०० डलर नि हुन आउदैन , एक छाकको पारिबारिक डिनरको पैसाले नेपालमा कति काम बन्ने .यिनीहरु २ ४ वर्षमा बिहे गरेर अस्ट्रेलिया जान्छन , फेरी नया नर्सहरुले रोजगारी पाउछन . नेपालको स्वस्थ सुबिधा ( काठमाडौँमा ) सहज र सुलब छ. तेस्तै सेवा यहाँ लिनु पर्यो भने तराईको ५ बिगाहा जमिन बेच्नु पर्छ . हरेक दृस्टीकोण बृध-बृद्धा लाई नेपाल नै उपयुक्त छ . मेरी स्वास्नी पनि एक्ली छोरि हो . सालो त छ तर स्वास्नी सारै चोथाले , बुडा बुडी अलगै आफ्नै पुर्ख्यौली घरमा बस्छन ,

हिमालजी, अरु स्टेटको खासै थाहा भएन, तर MA म चै ग्रीन कार्ड छ अनी काम-धाम छैन भनेर कस्तो कस्तो कम्प्लेक्स अपरेसन, रोगको उपचार आदी पनि फ्रीमै गर्ने गरेको देखे, बिशेष गरेर उमेर पुगेकाहरुले। अब यहाँ सिस्टमले आमा-बाउलाई छोरा-छोरिले नै हेर्नुपर्छ, खर्च सबै उठाउनै पर्छ भनेर भन्दैन। ब्यक्तिगत कती इन्कम छ, कती काम गरेको छ तेसैको आधारमा हस्पिटल चार्ज लगाउछन। कागज नहुनेले पनि डराउनु पर्ने चै खासै देखिन है, अरु स्टेटमा फरक होला। अब आफ्नो प्रपर्टी नै सेल गरेर आमा-बाउको उपचार गरेको चै MAमा मैले कहिल्यै सुनेन। एक जना आफन्तलाई क्यान्सर नै लागेको थियो, कागज थिएन, तर सबै अपचार औषधी सबै फ्री थियो, घरमै आउथ्यो। अफसोस उहा बाच्नु चै भएन।
मलाई चै यहाँ हेल्थ केयर राम्रो लाग्छ, हो अब बर्षको १००k ओभर कमाउनुहुन्छ भने चै तिराउछन मजाले तपाईंको उपचारको केसमा है। आमा-बाउको केसमा उहाहरुकै ब्यक्तिगत इन्कम म्याटर गर्छ छोरा-छोरिको हैन जस्तो लाग्छ है। MAमा तपाईं भएको भए चै म उहाहरुलाई यहाँ ल्याउने नै सुझाव दिन्थे, अरु स्टेटको अली थाहा भएन।
