Is there anything to consider, besides the checklist provided in n-400 while applying for the citizenship? & If u are a Greencard(of 5 yrs) and have applied for citizenship, how long does it take to get a citizenship?

Depends upon which service center but you are looking at anywhere from 6 months plus
