Hi guys. I need some information.
I am going to be US citizen soon. After I become a citizen, I would like to file petition for green card for my brother and his wife. Both of them are here as F-1 student. How long is the wait for them to get a green card? Do they get work permit right away after the petition has been filed. GENUINE SUGGESTION PLEASE.

It will take somewhere between 5-8 Years for Brothers or Sisters. and No they don't get any work permit or anything right away.

yup wait of 9 years is not to get green card, but to get the processing started. getting work permit n others go on with usuall processing times once the processing starts. Hence 9 + years.
