Location: Milwaukee, WI
Duration: 8 months (potential extension)
Areas of Expertise
• Big Data Ecosystems: Hadoop, HDFS, HBase, Hive, Pig, Sqoop, Zookeeper, MapReduce, CDC, MarkLogic and Flume
• ETL Tools: IBM Infosphere Datastage 8.5/9.1, IBM Infosphere Change Data Capture (CDC). Informatica7.1
• RDBMS: Teradata, Oracle, DB2 UDB
• Scheduling Tool: Tivoli Work Scheduler, Talend Administration Center (TAC), Autosys, Control-M
• Scripting Languages: Perl, Shell Scripting
• Programming Languages: Core Java
• Platforms: Windows (2007/XP), Linux, Solaris, AIX, HPUX
• Methodologies: Agile, Waterfall

Technical Skills and Experience
• 2 or more years of experience in Enterprise Data Engineering using Hadoop technologies
• Experience in scripting language (Shell / Perl / Python / Java / etc.)
• Strong experience with large scale, distributed, enterprise applications
• Additional proficiencies in SQL, SAS, Erwin, Data Quality Tools, ETL
